Susan, our founder and provider, has been in the medical field for more than 40 years in Memphis, TN. As a leading holistic doctor in Memphis TN, Susan has spent over 40 years helping patients find the root cause of their chronic health issues. She began her career in emergency medical services as a medic and worked her way through the Methodist diploma nursing school in Memphis, TN. Immediately after graduation, she was employed as a charge nurse on a progressive cardiology unit at Methodist Central.
After this, she transferred to the emergency room and worked as an RN, APN, and clinical specialist for 30 years in the Memphis, TN area. During this time, she also rounded on hospital patients for a local cardiology group and worked in the cardiac stress lab, clinic, and cardiac catheterization lab for more than 25 years. She has been in private practice for 15 years. As a leading holistic doctor in Memphis TN, Susan has spent over 40 years helping patients find the root cause of their chronic health issues.
She was the grassroots founder and leader of the medical response team at Germantown Methodist. Here, she designed and led a team of advanced practice nurses who were able to greatly reduce hospital emergencies and deaths within three months. Susan served on the Emergency Medical Services state board for 12 years for the state of TN. For 35 years, she taught for the state of Tennessee in the field of emergency medicine. She was active on the grassroots for emergency care of children, air transport, ethic, and an educational committee for the state. Also, she served as an educational reviewer for the Memphis Fire Department.
Susan obtained her BSN from Union University and her masters in Acute and Critical Care from UT. Her postgraduate work consisted of functional and holistic medicine, essential oils, pain management, and skin care. She is certified to practice holistic medicine and Functional Medicine in the Memphis, TN area. She can manage chronic diseases as a primary care provider such has hypertension, hyperlipidemia, autoimmune, arthritis, and much more. Susan is knowledgeable and experienced in cardiovascular and autoimmune diseases. Recently, she was recognized as a worldwide leader in healthcare and top APN in the Collierville area.
